VIDEO GENIUS

​Paying for your private tuition session in full upon booking (including using a gift voucher) is confirmation of your attendance. If you have to cancel your booking then we will be happy to offer a place on another course/workshop or a refund providing that we are given at least 6 days notice. No refunds are possible for cancellations made within 5 days of the course date or for no-shows.
Please note that all refunds are made via PayPal and may be subject to a PayPal commission charge.

Bookings are finalised via the Photo Genius website, this is to avoid any double bookings.

 

Video Genius / Photo Genius (and our tutors) are not responsible for any photography, video equipment or belongings that may be damaged, lost or stolen during any course, workshop or private tuition session. Attendees are responsible for their own equipment as well as their safety and the safety of others within the group. By booking and attending any course, workshop or One-to-One session you accept full responsibility for your own safety and agree that Video Genius / Photo Genius, Paul Farris or any Video Genius / Photo Genius tutors will not be liable for any injury, damages or losses at any time.

Video Genius / Photo Genius reserves the right to take photographic, (both still and video) records during any of its courses & workshops which may be used for promotional purposes, submissions, advertising and records.

Video Genius / Photo Genius reserves the right to alter the availability, schedule and cost of any services at any time without notice.

 

Cancellation policy
Video Genius / Photo Genius reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any session or course due to bad weather, tutor illness or inadequate enrolment. In the case of cancellations refunds will be made available upon request (with the exception of cancellation due to poor weather.)
All refunds transactions are made via PayPal.

Wet weather policy

If a course or workshop has to be cancelled due to bad weather then participants may choose to attend another course/workshop at a later date as listed on our website. Sorry but we are unable to offer refunds on courses or workshops cancelled or re-scheduled due to bad weather.

Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and are redeemable against any Video Genius  or Photo Genius course, workshop or private tuition within that period.

Vouchers are not redeemable for cash or refundable. The voucher expires 12 months from the date of issue and it is up to the recipient to use the full value of the voucher before the expiry date. Cash, credit or vouchers will not be given for any unused balance.

 

If a One-to-One tuition or course you wish to attend exceeds the voucher value then the recipient must make up the difference with another payment method. Vouchers are individually numbered on the reverse and also marked with the date of issue (purchase date). Vouchers will be sent to the purchasers supplied email address as a ready to print pdf format..
